October-November Volunteer Call

We’ve got a busy and exciting season ahead, and we’d love for you to join us in supporting and uplifting Native voices across the Triangle. Below are some important upcoming events where TNAS will be present.

  Saturday, October 11, 2025 | 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Indigenous Peoples Day – Apex
  Monday, October 13, 2025 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

• American Indian Heritage Celebration
  Saturday, November 22, 2025 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Volunteer Focus: Tabling & Community Outreach

For each of these events, tabling will be our main priority. We’re looking for volunteers who can help:

• Set up tables, chairs, and materials

• Share information about Triangle Native American Society with the public

• Encourage sign-ups for our newsletter

• Distribute giveaway items and educational resources

• Assist with packing up materials, tables, and/or chairs

If you’re only available for part of an event, no problem! Please email us with your specific availability so we can schedule volunteers to cover open time slots.

Your time, energy, and willingness to advocate for Native peoples of the Triangle make all the difference. Whether you’re setting up, greeting community members, or educating the public, you’re helping us strengthen visibility and representation.
