Volunteer Call for Pow Wow Season 2026

NC State University Powwow: 3/28 at 12PM to 5PM - Miller Field

Duke Powwow: 4/18 at 12PM to 5PM - Penn Pavilion

Dix Powwow: 5/30 at 10AM to 5PM - Dix Park

We are in need of a Lead Volunteer for NC State Powwow and Duke University Powwow to handle setting up the table and breaking down the table after the event. I will coordinate with this person to get the materials to them at the beginning of the week before the event. This will include arriving at the event earlier than the start time to set up the table. If you are interested and time allows for you to take this role please let me know and I can be sure that all volunteers for that day will be in touch with you for any assistance!

For these events, tabling will be the main priority, while also helping to set up or pack up materials (if time permits for you). d

• Setting up tables and chairs

• Setting up materials and information for tabling

• Educating the public on Triangle Native American Society and encouraging giveaway items

• Encouraging others to sign-up for the newsletter

• Packing up materials, tables and/or chairs

If there is a specific time you are available, please send me an email and let me know those times so that we can place someone in the empty time slots
